I left rural Pennsylvania for Washington D.C. where I earned my bachelor's in political science. I completed my master's in journalism at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Communications in July 2008.

I love chai tea, crossword puzzles and "30 Rock." Nothing makes me happier than a bagel and the newspaper on a lazy weekend morning.
